About Us

The bus is owned and driven by Tom Cunnington and Richard Shirley, two transport professionals with 30 years experience in the industry between them, including extensive work with private hires and charters

Tom has operated modern and classic buses for almost a decade, and holds a Certificate of Professional Competence for the opator’s licence.

Richard has a degree in Transport Planning & Management from the University of Plymouth. He worked for a number of years in passenger transport for the County of Surrey, where amongst other things he organised (and often drove) the Surrey Hills Leisure Buses, a network of heritage buses serving beauty spots and places of interest. Richard has undertaken work for a number of private hire operators, and has driven 1950s London buses as far afield as Davis California and Christchurch New Zealand.

The bus is operated by Red Baron Transport Services Ltd, 40 Bridgman Road, London W4 5BD.
